  • Re: Workspace won't install - how to override?

Johnny, I appreciate the response - let me clarify what's going on: I have performed the K2 installation Everything is installed and has been configured successfully, with the one exception of the Workspace The Workspace did not install at all - there is no Workspace folder or anything There seems to be nothing in the logs that indicates a ...

  • Workspace won't install - how to override?

As part of my previous post, I can't seem to get the Workspace to install. Running the install manually isn't an option due to the way the installer functions, but is there a way to throw msiexec a switch to override that behavior and let me simply install the Workspace by itself?   Thanks

  • Workspace missing in x64 install/configure

I have just recently performed an installation of K2 blackpearl on a standalone x64 server. During the Configuration Manager portion of the install, I am getting the following errors:   ''1588'',''2008-06-22 11:37:33'',''Error'',''15'',''15002'',''ERROR'',''SourceCode.Reporting.Configuration.Config'',''15002 File c:\program files ...

  • Re: Error on standard reports when called from the workspace

I have seen this issue sporadically in an environment where Workspace is load-balanced. It seems to be due to Workspace calling out to SSRS, with affinity not set correctly.  Thus, it isn't always the same NLB node hosting the Workspace session and the Report. Do you have load-balanced K2?

  • K2 for Reporting Services wrongly claims to error during Configuration

Just an FYI for everyone out there: If you are installing K2 [blackpearl] 0803 (new install or upgrade), and your SQL Reporting Services is on a separate server from your K2 Workspace, beware.  Configuration Manager on your SSRS server will complete with a ''FAILURE''. This failure is a ''false positive'' - it ends in a failed state, but ...

Hi, We have installed K2 (K2 server with Workspace/k2 databases) and k2 on two MOSS servers. The users who will going to use this K2 setup have user accounts that reside in a other domain. The K2 installation is in domain A, the user accounts are in domain B.  We know how to add a additional AD service K2workspace > management > ...

  • Re: Inconsistent Authentication issues - timeout setting somewhere?

Thank you very much for the reply. The plot thickens. I will explain. It is all one domain. We have several Domain Controllers and a distributed network, but they are all just replicated DCs across a couple different subnets. I thought maybe that was the issue since the servers and clients were all authenticating against a DC in a different ...
