  • Role & Destination Queue Management

Our company is getting ready to implement our first K2 Blackpearl solutions.  Unfortunately, the process we are automating is highly cross-functional so there are many roles and ''trigger points'' to manage.  It covers the order forecasting, contract maintenance, order entry, logistics, and service functions for specific types of orders, ...

  • Re: Active Directory Service

You should be able to do something like that by creating a custom variation of the ADInterop tool in the blackmarket - http://k2underground.com/k2/ProjectHome.aspx?ProjectID=3   HTH endpointsys

  • Active Directory Service

Is there a way to query nested groups in AD using the Active Directory Service? For example, we have countries AD groups (US, Canada), then we have user role AD groups within these countries (Managers, Workers).  A person may be a worker in one country and a manager in another.  Is there way to build a smart object using the AD service ...

  • Many domains referenced in the default security label = timeout

We've just switched to real life conditions, with now 20+ worldspread domains in the K2 security label, and everytime a user opens an Infopath form (part of a workflow), it takes more than 30 seconds to retrieve the actions associated to the form, leading to a timeout (the timeout is on the K2 Blackpearl web service, not on Infopath as I ...

  • Re: Error in InfoPath Building an InfoPath Integrated Workflow

I managed to solve my problem related to this. It had to do with the K2 Service Account that was not in the local Administrators user group. Problem solved with me.

  • Escalate to Manager - As Defined in AD

I have created a very simple proof of concept client event that is meant to escalate to the activity to the destination user's manager after one minute.  To accomplish this, the destination of the activity is set to me (an AD user) and the escalation rule is set to be a redirect to ActivityInstanceDestination.User.Manager, which I ...

  • Destination - Active Directory Group

I've created a simple client event and assigned an Active Directory group as its destination.  When I kick off the process through the workspace and then check the 'worklists' (also in the Workspace) I see that the item is assigned directly to the Active Directory group, and not to the users within the group.  How do I make it so that ...

  • [Workspace] Looking for users in other domains

In K2.net 2003, you had to add entries in the different .config files (and especially K2Server.config) to allow the browsing of different domains (e.g. <DataSource Path=''LDAP://DC=my,DC=domain,DC=com'' NetBiosName=''MY'' Type=''ActiveDirectory'' />).  How can you do that in K2 Blackpearl? I need to give permissions ...
