K2 Designer for SharePoint - Task Groups

This screenshot shows the new Task Group functionality available in the K2 Designer for SharePoint. Task groups provide the same functionality as Destination Sets do in our thick client designers, allowing a process designer to configure multiple destinations that will be used during runtime based on the outcome of business logic configured on each group. This capability will be available in K2 blackpearl 4.5 and K2 blackpoint 4.5.

This screenshot shows the Silverlight-based K2 Designer for SharePoint, available in K2 blackpearl 4.5 and K2 blackpoint 4.5. The designer ribbon has been updated to make the "Workflow Steps" more accessible by breaking the available steps into categories. New workflow steps available in this updated designer include "Create list item" and "Edit list item"

K2 Designer for SharePoint - Inline Functions

This screenshot displays our Inline Functions capability within the K2 Designer for SharePoint. Inline Functions give process designers the ability to include functions or calculations in their processes, allowing for the creation of complex business logic and rules. The inline functions wizard provides access to the context browser, allowing designers to use contextual information from the workflow and SharePoint columns in the function. In addition, when creating a "nested" function, the wizard keeps track of what piece of the function you are currently configuring so you always know exactly where you are.

This screenshot shows the updated Silverlight-based K2 Designer for SharePoint that will be available in K2 blackpearl 4.5 and K2 blackpoint 4.5. Key features to note include the ability to specify a loop or "rework" step; the updated "Workflow steps" menu that includes wizards such as "Set Folio" and "Client Step" and the "Process Guides" tab that provides step-by-step instructions for building simple workflows in this environment.
