Hi,

I have just installed BlackPearl and am trying to write my first Infopath process and on the Infopath Form Source Location I am getting the following error.

"The solution has not been opened. The following error occurred on opening: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

 I have tried using a form on my local drive, a shared drive and have published the form to a shared drive and can not get past this screen.  I am under a very tight time line to get processes developed and need a resolution as soon as possible.

What's your version? SP1? With some updates (KB updates) installed?

Do you get this error after you click "Next" or just after you select your file template in the "Open File" window?

The error was the result of using an InfoPath 2003 form template which not supported in Blackpearl.  The form has been rebuilt from scratch using InfoPath 2007 and the problem is resolved.
