4116 Error Compiling Process
The objectives we are trying to achieve in this project is to have our business layers control the line rule response. We seem to have a problem when referencing our assemblies in the K2Studio itself and therefore cannot get passed this problem.
When we add the reference, which is in the assembly folder in windows directory, and can browse to it using the K2Studio Reference interface, compile and export the workflow and then attempt to kick of a workflow we get the following error in the K2 Service Manager:
[code:1:94b365e684]4116 Error Compiling Process : 4116 Error Compiling Process : Compile Error: Imports Line 0: Metadata file 'ChangeCorporation.BaseFramework.dll' could not be found[/code:1:94b365e684]
And in the K2 Server:
[code:1:94b365e684]Debug 5100 executing line rule blah<4>, Start Act: Start<3>, Proc:Application<198>
Debug 5101 executing item line rule blah
Debug 5017 First Chance Exception in Code Item LineRule blah : 4116 Error Compiling Process : 4116 Error Compiling Process : Compile Error: Imports Line 0: Metadata file
OurAssembly.Reference.dll could not be found
Error 5015 Unhandled Exception in Code Item LineRule blah : 4116 Error Compiling Process : 4116 Error Compiling Process : Compile Error: Imports Line 0: Metadata file
OurAssembly.Reference.dll could not be found
Debug 5170 Executed Proc:Application<199>, Item:blah.LineRule, Status:Error[/code:1:94b365e684]
Now that Line blah, is the first line that it tries to execute, behind this line there is no reference to any of these external references. Its just the normal K2 compliant syntax.
For some reason though it cannot read our GAC files.
Our other business dlls that we have referenced in that same space, is working fine. The K2Studio picks up the intellisense on those objects without any problems.
Not sure why?

4116 Error Compiling Process
Sometimes re-installing K2 will resolve the issue.
If this environment involves K2.net 2003 SP4, it may be due to a known issue with that version.
If so, contact your regional K2 Support team to determine whether the hotfix may be needed in your situation.
