The workflow is initiated by the sharepoint event integration wizard which seems to function correctly when users go to the document library and click 'new' to create a new docuement, however when the users 'upload' a document to the library the 'ITEM ADDED' event in the event integration wizard provides an error message suggesting that there are no destination users for another item in the workflow, the destination users are dictated by the metadata set up when a document is uploaded or created in the document library - this leads me to think that when a document is uploaded the metadata from the document is handled slightly differently.

has anyone come across this issue before?
