    K2 BlackPearl Workstation on Vista

    Hi,

I am working on Vista Business 32bits and I have some issues with VS2005:

When I try to open the .kprx in my project, Visual Studio throws a System.ComponentModel.Design.ExceptionCollection.

I have a VPC with XP and it works fine with this project.

On Vista, I can create new projects and edit the workflow but some time VS crashes.

    Configuration:

    Vista Business 32bits

Visual Studio 2005 SP1 and SP1 Update for Vista

WWF extensions for Visual Studio 2005

    K2 BlackPearl 0803 (4.8075.1.0)

    Anyone have an idea?

    Hello Greg_Ott,

From the pre requisite requirements I see you have listed.  There are a few that you may want to verify in the Getting Started Guide.  The following can be found in Getting Started -> K2 blackpearl installation Guide -> Prerequisites -> Software by Component -> K2 for Visual Studio.

Verify those settings, which could in turn be causing an issue.  I also stumbled across this posting on an MSDN forum with users that were experiencing the same issue with Visual Studio when trying to open projects.  Take a look and see if it helps:
