G’day and welcome to Ramble On the blog for the UK & Europe Technical Specialist team. Through this blog we will share some of the work that we are doing with K2 blackpearl for our customers across the UK and Europe. The topics that we will address will be as wide and as varied as the region we work in and will by and large be driven by our experiences in the field and the requirements of our many different engagements.

As a team we’d like to think of this as a means to not only share our experiences, how tos, code samples and the like but also as a means to demonstrate the infinite potential of K2 blackpearl and thereby inspire you in your own endeavours, to take what you see here and turn it into something that fully utilises the power of the platform.

 

So what’s coming up.

Steve has recently posted to blackmarket a set of Service Objects that provide simple utility functions string and date time manipulation and data conversion. Having used these in the past couple of days I can honestly say that as simple as they are they really make life a whole lot easier. Steve will be showing us how to set them up and use them across our processes and SmartObjects.

 

I’ll soon be starting a series of posts on integrating K2 blackpearl and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4. This series will cover such topics as initiating blackpearl processes from within CRM and using CRM forms to complete worklist items and more.
