I do recall there is a blackmarket powershell wizard. Maybe you can try it out.

However, it probably is just executing code using the System.Management.Automation library.

Great post thanks. Now here is the challenge I'm facing. How do I use blackpearl to execute a powershell script.

Even better would be to pass data into a powershell script from a smartform.

That shouldn't be too difficult. It would be basically translating the Process Management code to powershell.

Great post! What if one wanted to pass in a set of folios or process instance IDs to end the processes? Could be very handy in dev.

That error normally means that the role resolved to no users. Probably need to check the role to see what members are inside. If you still face issues, I would suggest also logging a support ticket so that somebody can help take a look.

I been trying to use the Task Allocation SmO but I always get the error The User Manager 127.0.0.1 returned an empty queue, when assigning the get least work user method to the destination user. Any Help on how to solve this ?

I this after you added the settings? Did you try reverting the settings and see if it helps? I don't see why this would affect workspace permissions as that is something that is stored at the DB level.

I would also advise you to log a support ticket if you are having issues. This will at least allow a support engineer to assists you on your issue.

I added a user to create reports now I can not see my servers!!! what do I have to do for them to appear back on the workspace again?

We are facing a proble like work list is not fethced for the member with custome security lable.

after updating Identity with below command its works fine for next 8 hrs

as ExpireOn= GETDATE(), ContainersExpireOn= GETDATE(), MembersExpireOn= GETDATE()

Sorry, I didn't test this on blackpoint but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

However, I would test it out in a test environment to see if it works properly.

You can also run a profiler trace when deleting an instance to see if it is hitting the same tables (it should).

Note that this was tested a long time back and the current version of blackpearl already allows you to delete instances from the management console.

I think if you are looking for a long term and officially supported mechanism, I would suggest upgrading to blackpearl as that would give you access to the full product capability and also introduce required enterprise features such as process data archival.

Would this work for blackpoint as well? And is this just the logs that are scrubbed?
